Training Opportunities for Volunteers
All Achieve with NERAF paid staff and volunteers undertake training to enhance their role and benefit customers.
Our in house training package includes:
- Roles and responsibilities in safeguarding vulnerable adults
- Risk Assessment
- Motivational Interviewing
- Managing and Maintaining Professional Boundaries
- Conflict Resolution
- Group Facilitation
Volunteering Roles Currently Available
Advocacy support: to people affected by substance misuse
ICT Facilitators: assisting people to become computer literate
Group Facilitator: working to support people to achieve recovery
Events & Activities coordinator: working to support our charitable status
Admin Duties: responding directly to the public
Volunteer Recovery Coach: working directly with people to move into recovery by offering one to one coaching
Our Volunteers must always be reliable! have a genuine desire to help others! and have a good sense of humour! and hopefully want to make a difference.. Does that sound like you?

Our Trustees need one of the following skills or experience;
- Finance, Business, Marketing, Health and Social Care experience
- Someone that has been using services before and are now in recovery
